Yes I have been working on some new journal pages . I also been taking a lot of  online workshops lately. I have been thinking about having a mixed media garage sale . I'll be getting a lot  of stuff together so please check back soon.

Ginny's Small Studios workshops

So over the summer i have taken a bunch of workshops at Ginny small studio in Avon lake Ohio. Ginny is a wonderful lady that just makes you feel like you have been her friend for years, even though you just met her. She has this wonderful shop that i visit once a month, I live about 35 miles from it . Anyways she has workshops there with some really great artists. This year I took and Andrea Matus, Teesha Moore, Ingrid Dyjkers class.Here are some of my pictures from Ingrids class

Been awhile since I last posted.

Some new pages in my May Art Journals

The first one is the cover, fabric, iron-ons Donna Downy. I have been feeling kinda blue and I really  have alot on my mind. I think alot has to do with my kids getting older. I know alot of parents can't wait for the kids to grow up well not me . I wish they would stay young forever.My kids have been my life and love them dearly. Alot of people know what they want to do when they go off to collage . I just wanted to be a mom. So there will be alot of emotion in my journal pages lately.

I'm going to start selling my journals .

I have been making alot of  fabric journals . They are all sewn and they have Fabiano watercolor paper in them . I'll be posting pictures soon, going to be selling them for 25.00 on my etsy shop.

THINKING ABOUT WHAT REALLY MATTERS.

    MY SON  SHELBY  GRADUATED LAST  WEEKEND , AND  THIS  WEEK  HE  WILL  BE  19 YEARS  OLD.  TIME  GOES  SO  FAST  AND  THE  NEXT  THING  YOU  KNOW  IS  THAT  THEY  ARE  ALL  GROWN  UP.  I  HAVE  THREE  CHILDREN  AND  MY  YOUNGEST  IS  17. THEY  ALL  HAVE  GROWN  INTO  WONDERFUL,  CARING  PEOPLE.  I  COULDN'T  BE MORE  PROUD  OF  THEM . I  REALLY  HAVE  BEEN  BLESSED  WITH  A WONDERFUL  HUSBAND  WHO  PUTS  UP  WITH  ALL  MY  CRAP,  HE  IS  MY  BESTFRIEND  AND  MY  TRUE  LOVE.  I  THANK  GOD  EVERYDAY  THAT  HE  HAS  LET  ME  BE  BLESSED  WITH  MY  FAMILY.

I started making fabric journals.

These are just some i have been screwing around with these fabric journals, Teesha Moore has some videos on you tube on fabric journals.  But  on hers she does hand stitching which kills my hands. Mine are on canvas, and sewn with the sewing machine.
